Sewer lines can’t be seen and aren’t something that buyers like to think about. However, their condition is what buyers should know about.
Blockages, broken pipes, roots and other problems discovered at the time of inspection can avert costly repairs. Older homes are more prone to problems, but newly built homes can be subject to functional problems due to settlement and soil compaction issues.
Using a high-tech imaging camera with a pan and tilt camera, we can inspect a homes underground pipes and provide a written report and video of the structure and condition of the sewer system.
Infrared thermography is a non-contact, non-destructive test method that utilizes a thermal image camera to detect, display and record thermal patterns and temperatures across the surface of an object.
Infrared thermography cameras produce images of invisible infrared or “heat” radiation and can provide precise non-contact temperature measurement capabilities.
Infrared cameras in the home inspection industry are used to:
Seek out moisture intrusion, electric issues and energy efficiency.
Water Pipe leaks
Electric panel defects
MOLD AIR SAMPLING
Taking air samples during a mold inspection is important for several reasons. Mold spores are not visible to the naked eye, and the types of mold present can often be identified through laboratory analysis of the air samples.
Air sample can be used to gather data about mold spores present in the interior of a house. These samples are taken by using a pump that forces air through a collection device which catches mold spores.
